WELCOME. THIS IS THE HOME OF UNTIMELY FILMS. COME ON IN.

ABOUT UNTIMELY FILMS

Untimely Films was founded by the independent production team of Michael Banowetz and Noah Sodano. We develop and produces unique projects for web, television and feature film.

Our current project, This Aborted Earth, is an epic animated comedy series - a funny, twisted Don Quixote-meets-Monty Python-type-voyage through a Medieval universe that mirrors the worst of our own. Composed entirely of 19th Century imagery, "This Aborted Earth"was selected as a finalist in the Guggenheim's YouTube Play: A Biennial of Creative Video.

ABOUT US

A veteran filmmaker, Michael Banowetz has earned numerous awards (Emmys, Tellies, Cine Golden Eagles, Teddys and more) for over 600 television episodes he has produced, directed, written, created graphics packages for, and/or edited. He also sold three feature length treatments and wrote seven screenplays, one optioned, another a finalist for the Nicholl Fellowship. Currently Michael is raising money for the feature film "Boulder," a dark comedy that one producer described as "Animal House" meets "A Clockwork Orange."
